Arundel House was built in the nineteenth century by the Duke of Norfolk and was acquired by the IISS in 1997 as the Institute outgrew its Covent Garden premises.
The entire top floor comprises a multi-functional conference room with views over the river, equipped with sophisticated audio-visual equipment. There is another room on the fourth floor, again with embedded AV equipment. The Television Studio and the Situation Room are located together in the basement.
